Although his father had neither, much formal education nor much wealth, he had great innate wisdom and generosity. As a devout Muslim he would start his day with reading namaz at 4 am and go to the mosque for evening prayer. He had magical power to transform normal water into sacred water for the invalids. His intimacy with the high priest of Rameswaram temple illustrates tolerance. He could explain complex spiritual concepts in very simple colloquial Tamil. HIS father revealed to him the fundamental truths. In | his own world of science and technology Dr. APJ. Adbul Kalam has tried to follow his father’s principles of life.
