The enemy of the Tsar had earlier vowed to take revenge on the Tsar. But when he saw that the Tsar was kind and considerate, he changed his mind. He was grateful to him as the Tsar saved his life by bandaging his wounds several times. This brought about a change in his mind. That is why he did not think of taking revenge on the Tsar anymore, though he was left alone with the Tsar when the latter was sleeping deeply. A psychological transformation took place in the mind of the wounded person. Therefore, he did not want to harm the Tsar any more; rather he asked for the Tsar’s forgiveness.
