“You are a bit of all right, old chap”-What are the elements in Sir Mohan that have made him ‘all right’?

In “Karma’ the translucent imperfect glass mirror in the first-class waiting room describes Sir Mohan Lal standing in front of it. He appears distinguished, efficient and handsome. His moustache is neatly trimmed and he wears a suit bought from Saville Row with carnation in the button hole. He uses an expensive perfume, and fragrant talcum powder and soap. He likes to imitate British manners in every sphere of his life. Outwardly at least he is akin to an Englishman. To be a bit of all right’ he shuns every bit of Indianness in his dress and etiquette.
